How It Works

Install the GitHub App on your repositories. After installation, configure your personal Background Agent API key (Cursor, Claude Code are supported as of now). The agent will launch with the issue as a prompt, add context from updates and comments, and optionally auto-create pull requests. Your repositories must be connected in your Cursor account for the agent to access them.

As your issues come in, see the agents proactively tackle the problems and run a first pass as fixing it.
